Spring Fever

We are so anxious for Spring to get here! Last Saturday we packed a picnic and went to the park to enjoy the sunshine! We were the only ones there, so that tells you how warm it really was. The kids had fun though!

I mostly chased Liam around. For some reason he thought the parking lot was more fun than the grass and playground.

We bought some fun airplane launcher things and Clint and Tate had fun with those.

We also played soccer and threw the frisbee around. Once again Clint and I got competitive.
Liam gave up towards the end and just sat down with his blanky!

Liam's 1st Birthday

Liam turned 1 on February 21st. I can't believe my little baby is so big. We had a fun little party with just our little family. Liam loved all of his new toys, although I think Tate loved them more.
He got his 1st remote control car, his own cell phone (in hopes he will leave my alone now), a fun bus from Tate and a little Melody Push Chime toy!

Trying out his push chime toy.

Showing us his new phone.

Big Brother showing him how to work his new remote control car!

He figured it out really fast!

Now for the cake, he figured this out really fast also!

I love his face in this picture, he looks so surprised!

This is one of my favorite faces he pulls. I call it his mean face, but it really is just cute to me!

Mmmmm...that was good!
Liam is such a fun boy. He makes us laugh everyday. We are so blessed to have him in our family! We Love You Liam! Happy Birthday!

Family Pictures!

I mentioned in an earlier post that we had family pictures done. My friend Kara did them and she did great. It was soooo cold that morning. We met at 8:30 a.m. and I would say it was in the low 20's and there was a really cold wind blowing. It was quite the experience and we'll always remember it. They turned out really well though despite the cold.

Our little family.

Getting a little crazy!

The siblings.

Grandpa and Grandma with all the grandkids. It was so cold that a lot of the kids just cried through the pictures. It was sad, but pretty hilarious. It makes for a cute picture.

A Visit with Santa!!!

We were able to attend the Jones Family Christmas Party last weekend. My Mom was in charge of it this year and she did a great job. Everything turned out wonderful! Tate was very excited to visit with Santa this year and waited most patiently in line for his turn.

Waiting in line.
Visiting with Santa. I'm pretty sure he asked for a loader.

Liam had fallen asleep and we couldn't get him to wake up. So here is Tate and sleeping Liam with Santa.

On a side note. Liam is into everything. It is so crazy how busy he is. He took his first steps last Sunday at 9 1/2 months. He only took about 3 and fell down, but its a start and I would imagine he will be walking pretty good by the first of the year. Lucky me, I think my life is about to get so a lot more hectic!

Thanksgiving

This year we had Thanksgiving with my family. Unfortnately, I left my camera in Liam's room while he was napping during the actual Thanksgiving dinner, so I don't have any pictures of that. However, I will say it was very delicious. I can't get over how long it takes you to prepare the food and then the meal is over within 30 minutes. I had the opportunity to go down early this year and help my Mom get everything ready. She is still on crutches from a recent foot surgery so she taught me how to make a lot of stuff. Including rolls, pumpkin pie with homemade pie crust, yams, make ahead mashed potatoes etc. Someday I will be brave enough to make my own Thanksgiving Dinner!

All the grandkids with Great Grandma Jones and Grandma Cranney
Tate had fun playing in the snow this year. He liked it much better than last year. Cousins Brody and Hayden pulled him all over on the sled.

We also got to meet up with Clints parents, sister and 3 kids to go see the lights on Temple Square. The lights were so beautiful, as always! We also ate on top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Not only was the food great the view was amazing!

We took family pictures Saturday morning. Afterwards we went to our favorite family restaurant, Litzas.

My Mom made all of these cute cholcolate houses for the grandkids to decorate. Tate and I had a lot of fun.

We also got to celebrate my Dad's Birthday during the weekend. It was a great weekend and very eventful. I didn't even mention my Black Friday Shopping experience. I'll just say it went good and I got almost everything I wanted.

Trick or Treating!
Liam didn't last long!!!

Tate had fun though! We went to trick or treat street at the convention center in downtown Elko and then trunk or treating!

It was a great trip and it was so nice to be by family for this fun holiday!
